Going into the second year of continuum support, the centre has been following the stipulated guidelines in carrying out the activities. Under the project support, the Mission Education centre is reaching out to 150 underprivileged children. These beneficiaries hail from various remote locations of the country and have poor socio-economic background with lack of basic life amenities.They are attending the formal education and are enrolled in the Mandal Prashad Primary School, Vaddera Colony, Chitkul village Mandal, which is adjacent to the center. The children come in the morning to the center and then go to school, after the formal school again they come in the evening for full educational sessions. Till now 750 students undergone our education. Improved their competencies. Now they are in 1st and 2nd ranks also in good positions in sports.

The target community includes, low income group migrant communities from the states such as Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh. The population here includes, people employed as unskilled daily wage laborers who are engaged in all the nearby industries. Pertaining to their socio-economic conditions and daily hardships for survival, affording quality education remains a distant dream for these poor families and that is where Mission Education project of Smile Foundation and Signode play pivotal role by bridging the accessibility gaps with quality educational support and growth opportunity.
